Community continues to be important, especially during these trying times; with that in mind for the first time, this year, Branches Atelier is excited to be offering families from all over the world an opportunity to enroll in our innovative virtual Reggio inspired Developmental Kindergarten program.

Throughout our school year, join our dedicated Branches teaching team in our DK cohort online program. This next step of the Branches philosophy will specialize in using materials as tools of the mind to express ideas, support problem-solving, creativity, and communication. Together we will explore new pathways for ideas on narrative expression and literacy for emotional development. Through story and dramatic play we will also embark on explorations on power and social justice issues. Connections with our natural world as a springboard for scientific and mathematical inquiry.

Our Branches DK program offers children the opportunity to:

Gain mastery using materials and media as tools of the mind, opportunities for expression through clay, watercolor, acrylic paint, oil pastels, collage, mixed media, fiber, stitch, natural materials, and photography- Beautiful curated Branches materials and supplies will sent home three times a year.
Embark on a journey into self-discovery, wonder and creativity.
Engage in long term investigations intertwined with immersive language, mathematics and scientific explorations with their peers.
Build a shared, collaborative experiences through distance learning
Grow and learn in a Reggio inspired nurturing community.
Learn how math, literacy, science and the arts can be woven through all of our investigations in a meaningful way.
Be able to look at the world through many different perspectives and points of view
Learn how to be flexible, open minded, flexible, resilient and collaborative with their peers.
Discover how reflection meetings are a tool for co-construction, daily organization and planning.

Our Branches DK program offers parents the opportunity to:

Learn how to set up provocative learning spaces at home.
Gain experience in supporting children’s contemporary academic learning at home.
Support and develop your child’s creativity and imagination and problem solving with carefully selected Branches curated materials and supplies sent home 3 times a year.
Observe as the children gain confidence in working with a range of media and use materials as a form of joyful expression and meaning making.
Learn not only the about materials curated for the Kindergarteners, but also gain experience in best practices and contemporary child development theories with our expert faculty and Branches Teachers.
Experience how our pedagogical team meetings are used to uncover and support children learning.
Join us and take part in our Branches Parent evenings workshops and seminars.
Learn how Branches teachers how to engage children through the use of materials.
Participate in a monthly check in to go over the thinking behind our curriculum and offer parents ideas and strategies to support the children learning at home.
